Banksy has officially landed in Vancouver — and it’s the perfect excuse to visit one of the city’s most iconic neighbourhoods.

Now open in Gastown, The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” is a captivating exhibit that invites you to discover over 200 works from the world’s most elusive street artist.

This museum-quality collection features original art, prints, photographs, sculptures, installations, and murals — making it a must-see event to add to your spring bucket list.

This exhibit isn’t just featuring the art of Banksy, it’s giving you a chance to immerse yourself into interactive installations like the Infinity Room, letting you discover Banksy’s artworks through an infinite room full of mirrors.

You can also step into a simulated recreation of Banksy’s biggest ever art piece, Dismaland Bemusement Park, a gritty pop-up theme park set up in Somerset, England. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll get to witness the world premiere of a groundbreaking new hologram that lets you see and hear the real Banksy.

Want to get a little more hands-on? Premium ticket holders can channel their inner artist and spray paint one of Banksy’s iconic designs onto a T-shirt. Yep, you get to leave with your own piece of art!

“The Banksy exhibit has brought a boost to the overall vibrancy of Gastown since it opened in February, with our businesses seeing patrons of the exhibit exploring the entire offerings of our amazing neighbourhood,” Executive Director of Gastown Business Improvement Society Walley Wargolet said in a press release.

There’s plenty to do in the area — like hitting up Local Public Eatery for a lively ambiance and diverse menu, Guilt & Co., for live music, and Monarca for an authentic Mexican dining experience.
