What: Over 100,000 visitors and racers are expected to attend the city’s biggest Dragon Boat celebration. The two-day event will include the international dragon boat races and an expanded range of programming, and free concerts throughout the day.

Richmond Night Market 2025

When: The Richmond Night Market is officially open for its 2025 season. This highly anticipated event is the largest night market in North America.

This year is extra special because it marks the 25th anniversary of the market, and there will be some special offers for visitors to celebrate. One of these special offers is the return of its popular Summer Happy Hour with special food and drink deals that are all under $10.

Slow Beer: The Bottle Episode 2

Dageraad Brewing

What: Dageraad is hosting a celebration of bottle-aged and bottle-conditioned beers, and you’re invited to the party.

The Bottle Episode is back at Dageraad Brewing on June 21, with 16 Lower Mainland breweries showcasing the world of bottle-conditioned and aged beers. Guests will sample over 45 different beers and learn all about the niche and nerdy beer styles the brewers love the most.

Dagaraad also announced that the event will have no tokens, with all beer included with a ticket to Slow Beer.

Great Grandview Garage Sale 2025

What: The 9th Great Grandview Garage Sale is happening rain or shine on Saturday, June 21, throughout Grandview-Woodland in East Vancouver.

Over 100 sales in people’s yards, alleys, and driveways are expected for this year, with organizers expecting another big turnout of shoppers. Previous years even saw the total number of garage sale events nearing 200.

Anyone in the Grandview Woodland area is invited to set up a sale simply by registering online. There is no cost to do so, though donations are being collected to help with organization costs.

40th Annual Vancouver Jazz Festival

Coastal Jazz

What: The 40th annual Vancouver International Jazz Festival is returning to stages all over the city from Friday, June 20, to Tuesday, July 1.

The full lineup of events will be shared by the Coastal Jazz & Blues Society over the upcoming weeks. To get music lovers jazzed about this year’s fest, organizers announced the first two performances in this summer’s legendary lineup.

First up are headlining performances by Grammy-winning bassist and composer Richard Bona and his Asante trio on Monday, June 23, and world-class guitarist and composer Bill Frisell with Thomas Morgan and Rudy Royston on Tuesday, June 24.

BC Halal Food Fest
