9 things to do in Vancouver this week: August 17 to 23

Aug 17 2020, 6:08 am

Explore Metro Vancouver with Lyft this summer. Don’t forget your mask! Lyft has implemented a Health Safety Program, which requires every rider and driver to self-certify they will wear face coverings throughout the ride and are symptom-free, among other requirements.

Please note: As recommended by BC’s provincial health officials, if you choose to participate in events or leisure activities outside of your home, please adhere to COVID-19 health and safety measures, including proper physical distancing and frequent handwashing. If you are sick, please stay home.

After a weekend of gorgeous weather, it’s time to cool off that sunburn.

We’ve compiled a list of nine things for you to this week, August 17 to 23, none of which require slathering on sunscreen.
