Seth Rogen encourages everyone in BC to smoke weed alone instead of partying

Seth Rogen wants you to stay away from crowds during the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, and he’s got a pretty good idea of how — stay home and smoke weed.

After BC Premier John Horgan publically reached out to Rogen and actor Ryan Reynolds, asking for their help encouraging people to avoid crowds and parties, Reynolds was the first to respond, posting a “message” he’d left.

Rogen followed suit with the words, “Just slid in to your DMs,” addressed to the premier on Twitter.

We may not know the contents of that exchange, but Rogen went back to his social media on Saturday to offer British Columbians some advice — likely not approved by the province.

“Please do not go out to parties and BBQs and other large gatherings,” he wrote. “The COVID is still out there! It’s more fun to hang out alone and smoke weed and watch movies and TV shows anyway! Do that instead.”

While the approach might not work — or even be recommended — for everyone, anyone looking to follow his advice should probably cue up Pineapple Express on Netflix.
