Opening day for iconic Japanese matcha brand Tsujiri finally came, and Daily Hive showed up early to the new Metro Vancouver cafe to try all the most buzzed-about offerings.
Known for using green tea leaves from Uji in Kyoto in all its signature treats, the new Richmond spot offerings a menu packed of food and drink made with the green stuff.

Other highlights from the menu include cakes, lots and lots of cakes. An amazing kind to try would be the Opera Cake, or if you want something really extra, opt for the famous Matcha Souffle Pancakes served with ice cream.
Matcha-lovers will now find this spot open Tuesday to Thursday from 2 to 10 pm, Friday from 2 to 10:30 pm, Saturday from noon to 10:30 pm, and Sunday from noon to 10 pm.
