2 'low-life thugs' steal mattress in store smash-and-grab (VIDEO)

A mattress store in Chilliwack is asking for the public’s help after a robbery that took place last weekend.

The incident took place at The Bedroom Gallery on Sunday, July 7 at approximately 10:43 pm.

“Two low-life thugs decided to smash the front glass and take off with a brand new Restonic mattress,” writes the store on Facebook. “Any information leading to an arrest will be met with a reward.”

A 20-second clip, uploaded by the store, shows two suspects lifting up the mattress from a display bed and carrying it out through a broken window.

One suspect wears a white hooded jacket; the other suspect looks to be wearing a grey hooded jacket. Neither of their faces can be seen in the video.

Daily Hive has reached out to the Chilliwack RCMP for further comment.
