Three Vancouver breweries open new collective brewery and tasting room in notable building
Whenever a new brewery and tasting room opens up, we tend to get excited. But upon hearing the news that three powerhouse breweries in Vancouver are joining forces, it’s safe to say we got three times as excited.
Threefold is a new collective brewery formed by Slow Hand, Boombox, and Temporal.
“Our three breweries had an opportunity to come together under one roof, sharing our knowledge, resources, and creativity to make something new, and something greater than the sum of its parts,” said Threefold. “Our goal is to champion craft and to give all three breweries a mutually beneficial space to produce, serve, and celebrate our beers.”
Slow Hand is best known for its crispy, delicious lagers. As for the other two breweries, Threefold said the Boombox team are “local hop masters pushing the boundaries of modern styles” and called the Temporal team the “masters of barrel aging,” adding that they craft complex beers from farmhouse ales to barleywines.
So, what can people expect from these three breweries? Well, great beer, of course. Additionally, you’ll be able to find some other snacks and beverages on the list.

“The Threefold tasting room will have beers from all three breweries on tap and to go, and will host releases and other events throughout the year. With the wide range of product offerings and expertise between the three breweries, there will always be top-quality beers on tap across the board,” added Threefold.
Located at 1507 Powell St., Threefold has opened in the former space of Andina Brewing Company, which closed its doors in April 2023.
There will be limited food offerings during its soft opening, so stay tuned for a grand opening date.

Threefold softly opened its doors on April 10. It’s open every day from 2 to 10 p.m. and 2 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
