The Meat Up to permanently close Vancouver location next week
A Vancouver destination for Beijing-inspired BBQ fare is wrapping up operations next week: The Meat Up.
The 7994 Granville Street spot for meat and vegetable skewers shared the news with Dished, saying its final day of operation would be Friday, July 28.

While the concept will be permanently shuttering that restaurant, its Richmond location (3580 No. 3 Road) will continue to stay open and serve the community.

It’s not all bad news, though, as The Meat Up team tells us that it’s aiming to find a new outpost in Burnaby where patrons can enjoy its signature menu of skewer pots, BBQ, sides, and drinks.
We’ll keep you posted on any updates on that, but in the meantime, be sure to pop into the Vancouver location ahead of its closure next week.
