Popular Middle Eastern restaurant to open in downtown Vancouver at The Post
After getting its start in Victoria, Superbaba first landed in Vancouver as a food truckĀ and then eventually opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Mount Pleasant. Now, the fast-casual Middle Eastern restaurant is gearing up to open its second Vancouver location at The Post.
Superbaba shared the news on its Instagram on March 25.
“I finally found the perfect space for Superbabaās return to downtown Vancouver,” shared Chef and owner of Superbaba Dallah El Chami.
For those unfamiliar, Superbaba is a fast-casual spot known for its falafel, chicken shawarma, crispy eggplant, and fresh-baked pita.
“Thanks again to all the people who make things happen, and to all my friends who support (put up with) all my projects. Here we go again,” added Dallah.

If you needed convincing to get excited about the spot, Superbaba’s Victoria location and Chef Dallah were featured on Season 2 ofĀ Big Food BucketĀ List, where host John Catucci travelled around North America uncovering deliciousness.
