A beloved Vancouver pizzeria is making its return to Kingsway
After closing due to the redevelopment of its building, Straight Outta Brooklyn is returning to Kingsway tomorrow, Sept. 25.
This will be the sixth location from the team, who are also behind some of Vancouver’s most popular Italian eateries like Via Tevere, Dante Italian Sandwich, Don’t Argue Pizza, Il Saltimbocca, and CaffĂ© Soccavo.
“With nine great years serving pizza in this community, we’re excited to be back after a
year away!” said Patrick Kimball, owner and operator. Alongside Kimball, Kitchen Manager
Dan McDonald will lead the kitchen that sits right by the front window so folks can watch every pie be made.
The space, which comes in at 900 sq. ft., will seat 16 and leans into the restaurant’s signature Brooklyn character, complete with a red brick feature wall alongside a steel light-up “Brooklyn” sign.

The menu will feature everything from single quarter pie slices to whole pies, alongside tiramisu, dips, and a selection of drinks.

To celebrate opening day, the location will be offering $5 quarter pie slices from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and whole Original Margherita and Classic Pepperoni pies for $20 from 4 to 10 p.m. This deal is only available on Friday, Sept. 25, so mark your calendars if you want to secure these deals.
