Starbucks announces major 'coffeehouse uplifts' for three Metro Vancouver locations
Starbucks has just unveiled its plans for what it calls “coffeehouse uplifts” across Canada, and three of the locations are planned for Metro Vancouver.
The idea is to bring more comfortable seating, warmer designs, and neighbourhood-inspired details to locations across Canada.

“We want our coffeehouses to feel welcoming, where our customers will want to stay longer, connect more and feel at home. Every uplift starts with the neighborhood and is tailored to reflect the community it serves,” said Dawn Clark, senior vice president of global design and concepts at Starbucks.
The coffeehouse uplifts will also offer a redesigned espresso bar that offers customers a better view of their drink being made, as well as dedicated space for folks mobile ordering their coffee.

Among the locations in Metro Vancouver getting this upgrade are Scott and 72nd (7221 120th St., Delta), Royal Square (800 McBride Blvd., New Westminster), and Westgate Centre (20395 Lougheed Hwy., Maple Ridge).
These coffeehouse uplifts are currently underway and are expected to continue through 2027.
