Vancouver's new fried chicken spot is entirely space-themed — right down to the sandwiches

Vancouver is home to plenty of uniquely themed restaurants. Just take a look at the recently opened police-themed pizza shop 911 Pizza, where everything on its regular menu is priced at $9.11, and all of its special dishes are multiples of nine and 11.
Now, the city is home to a new interesting concept: a space-themed fried chicken restaurant.
Called Space Chicken, the new restaurant is promising “bold, crispy, and out-of-this-world flavour.”
“Experience cosmic chicken like never before,” said the restaurant on its website.
But what exactly is on the menu? While the restaurant is sourcing its chicken from Earth (for the time being at least), its menu is filled with space-themed sandwiches.
Take the Saturn Burger, for instance, which features two crispy chicken thighs, lettuce, house-made sauce, and an onion ring.
It also serves standard fried and grilled chicken, wings, platters, and even beef and veggie burgers.

The restaurant also features daily deals on select menu items, like serving its Venus Burger (crispy chicken breast patty with Nashville sauce, coleslaw, pickles, and spicy sauce) for $6.99 on Wednesdays or a leg and thigh for $5.55 deal on Tuesdays.
Space Chicken is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
