Popular Vancouver cafe and matcha bar will softly open its new location this weekend

Earlier in April, Dished reported that the viral Vancouver cafe and matcha bar Cowdog was opening its second location in the city. Now, we have some good news to report that you won’t have to wait much longer to visit this new spot.
Cowdog shared on Instagram that it will be soft opening its new Kitsilano location on Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If this location opening is anything like its first brick-and-mortar in the city (or its pop-up at Dear Gus Snack Bar), you can expect lines on opening day.
For those not in the know, Cowdog is known best for its standout coffee and tea offerings, serving unique matcha and hojicha options.
It also operates under a no-tip, living wage model and is one of the growing number of cafes in Vancouver that don’t charge for non-dairy options.
If you’re one of the many who can’t wait for this new location to open, you can also visit Cowdog’s original spot at 3720 Oak St., Vancouver.
