Korean street food chain opens first BC location in Metro Vancouver

Heads up, Vancouver, the popular Korean street-food chain Sinjeon Topokki has just opened its first-ever BC location right here in Metro Vancouver.
Sinjeon started in 1999 as a small food stall in Daegu, South Korea. Now, it’s one of the most well-known street food brands in Korea.
“For more than two decades, we’ve focused on Korean Street food and its own unique culture,” said the chain.

On the topic of food, Sinjeon is best known for its selection of topokki (spicy rice cakes) available in an array of spice levels. It also offers a variety of deep-fried goodies like fried fish cakes and dumplings alongside udon and kimbap.

The new location at 329 North Road Unit 455, Coquitlam, opened its doors on February 1.
