Much-loved local Irish pub to expand with two new Vancouver locations

Beloved Irish pub Shamrock Storehouse is preparing to double the number of locations it has in Vancouver with the addition of two new spots expected to open soon.
First, signs for a new location at Hotel Belmont have recently popped up at 678 Nelson St. This comes after the closure of The Living Room (the ground-floor restaurant for casual bites and sips) and The Basement (the late-night hangout spot known for its fun drinks and ice cream sandwiches).

As for the second location, Shamrock Storehouse lists an outpost coming to Vancouver’s Stadium District at 837 Beatty St. on its website.
At these new locations, we expect to find the same assortment of Irish-inspired offerings, including Irish stew, handmade savoury pies, all-day breakfast, and more (in addition to plenty of Guinness, of course).

Shamrock Storehouse was founded in 2024 by William and Laura Donnelan, who are originally from Co. Galway, Ireland. Currently, it operates locations at 1184 Denman St. and 4497 Dunbar St.
“From hearty Irish food, perfectly poured Guinness and the best Sunday Session in Vancouver, we wanted to capture what makes the Shamrock so special and bring it to more communities all over the world for people to enjoy,” wrote the pub on its website.
Aside from “coming soon,” an official opening date has yet to be shared for both of the locations. However, Google shows an opening date of March 17 for the Hotel Belmont location.
