You can go to the Richmond Night Market for free — but there's a catch

The Richmond Night Market is once again returning for the season on April 24, and this year, it is offering patrons free admission on opening day. But, there’s a catch.
In case you missed the news, this year has plenty of exciting happenings at the market, from a new Trading Card Zone to the world’s first night market zipline and over 500 food items to try.
Bites includes everything from Asian street eats to trending global bites. Previously, we’ve seen jumbo oysters, birria tacos, takoyaki, gochujang chicken corn pizza, and more.
The overall theme for the 2026 night market is “Little Wonder World,” which is described as a “dazzling, globe-trotting adventure filled with iconic landmark decorations, vibrant displays, and a stunning themed wall designed for unforgettable moments.” There will also be a giant soccer display.
