Richmond Night Market returns with an epic soccer celebration next month

Richmond Night Market is back this spring, and soccer fans won’t want to miss out on all the fun.

The Richmond summer staple is opening its gates once again in April, near the corner of No. 3 Road and River Road.

While the exact opening date is to be announced, organizers of the largest night market in North America have revealed some details that have got fans excited.

At the top of the list is the news that this year’s Richmond Night Market will “celebrate the global spirit of soccer.”

“This summer, the Richmond Night Market is turning up the excitement as the world’s largest soccer tournament kicks off in Vancouver,” said organizers in a release.

“Experience one of the largest soccer-themed displays, a lively atmosphere, and immersive activities that put you right in the heart of the action.”

Another highlight is the new Night Market Trading Card Zone.

“This dedicated hub is the ultimate destination for TCG enthusiasts and collectors to buy, sell, and showcase their favourite cards,” added organizers.

“Fans of all kinds will come together, creating a vibrant community space where collectors and vendors connect over their shared passion.”

And of course, guests will want to save room for all of the delicious vendors serving up treats from around the world.

Vancouver is embracing 2026 FIFA World Cup fever in a big way.

Soccer fans will be able to watch 2026 FIFA World Cup matches for free at Vancouver’s official FIFA World Cup fan festival.

Officials reaffirmed that entry to the FIFA Fan Festival Vancouver at the PNE fairgrounds in Hastings Park will not require a ticket.

Furthermore, it is now confirmed that general admission access to live match screenings at the fairgrounds’ new PNE amphitheatre will also be free.

Unofficial live match screening and fan experiences have also been announced for an outdoor area at Granville Island and three locations at City of Surrey-owned sites.
