RCMP Musical Ride returns to The Fair at the PNE for Canada 150

Attendees of the Fair at the PNE may find themselves with some difficult decisions to make regarding what shows to attend, as the famous RCMP Musical Ride will be returning to the Fair this summer.

A full troop of 32 riders (and their horses, of course) has been touring around Canada since May as part of the Canada 150 celebrations, and will have performed in up to 50 communities by this upcoming October.

Their intricate drills and choreography will be appearing at the PNE Agrodome as one of the Fair’s many events and performances, and the 30-minute show will be taking place over four dates on August 19, 20, 22, and 23.

That means that you could potentially watch the show for as little as $1.50, because the PNE opening weekend on August 19 and 20 features $1.50 admission for anyone wearing red or a Maple Leaf between 11am and 1 pm.

First Responders can catch the show for free, as Hero’s opening weekend allows those with valid First Responders service cards (and a guest) to get into the gates free of charge.

The Musical Ride has been a tradition since 1876, so it is not something you want to miss—even if your friend really wants to see the Superdogs for the third time that day.
