When Dished saw signs for a new sandwich shop called Pressato opening in Vancouver, we knew we needed to learn more. So, we reached out to learn more about the new concept and when people can get their hands on these tasty handhelds.

Pressato told us that it plans to serve a wide variety of sandwiches on focaccia that are baked fresh daily. The sandwich shop also added that it plans to use cured meats and cheese imported from Europe.

“We will offer a selection for every guest to be happy,” said Pressato. “We will have some vegan options, vegetarian, and, of course, standard sandwiches with meat.” You’ll also be able to find paninis at this location.

In addition to sandwiches, Pressato said that it will offer a line of caffeinated beverages, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and soft drinks.

Located at 386 Robson St., the sandich shop is opening in the former space of the mochi donut shop Ikoi Cha, which quietly closed its doors in 2024. It’s also opening just a few steps away from Dante’s Italian Sandwich, which opened in November 2024.

The new spot will open its doors on Friday, Feb. 28.
