From newly opened locations, new concepts, and revamped old eats, it’s 2018 and we can’t wait to get in on some serious eating this month.

Lunch Club has opened the doors to their Arbutus Ridge spot and are currently serving up sandwiches, coffee, lattes, and wine, and soon, supper.

Autostrada

The high-anticipated osteria is open on Main Street and ready to serve you some of the best pasta–eight varieties of it–that you can get your hands on.

The Victor

One of Parq’s many delightful restaurants, The Victor offers classic steak and seafood for anyone that steps into their dining room.

Modus Coffee

It may be a new coffee spot but these guys are no stranger to roasting quality beans. Modus coffee opened in Mount Pleasant earlier this year and offers coffees that are “straightforward and uncomplicated,” along with a selection of baked goods.

Riz Sushi

This East Broadway poke and sushi spot kicked off their official storefront opening with $3 poke bowls, and we’re sure the lines will continue after the deal wraps up.

Aleph Middle Eastern Eatery

We couldn’t be more excited about this one. The interior is insane and the Lebanese brunch and lunch are sure to be as well. This spot opens on January 17.

ZenQ Dessert – Vancouver

The international dessert and bubble tea chain, named after Zen (grass jelly) and Q (Chinese slang for chewiness), could only be found in Ontario (Richmond Hill, Markham) and Alberta (Edmonton) until now. A ZenQ is also opening in North Burnaby very soon.

The restaurant inside Whistler’s only lakeside boutique hotel isn’t new, but its look and menu sure are. Aura Restaurant in Nita Lake Lodge has gotten a chic makeover and delicious new menu items like vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free eats.
