Taiwanese dessert king celebrates Vancouver opening with FREE bubble tea all weekend

Jan 6 2018, 1:09 am

Bubble tea lovers, your Friday just got a whole hell of a lot sweeter.

Taiwanese sweets spot ZenQ Dessert is kicking off their grand opening today by offering their first 100 customers FREE bubble tea for the next three days.

The first lucky 100 folks can choose from Pearl Milk Tea, ZenQ Milk Tea with Grass Jelly, or Lychee Blue Mountain Green Tea with Lychee Jelly and get their treat completely free of charge.

The new kid on the bubble tea block is also offering BOGO free drinks January 5 through January 7 – so if you can’t make it there in time to make the most of the free 100 offer, don’t sweat it, there will still be sweet deals to get in on.

The international dessert and bubble tea chain, named after Zen (grass jelly) and Q (Chinese slang for chewiness), only had locations in Ontario (Richmond Hill, Markham) and Alberta (Edmonton) until now.

There will also be a ZenQ opening in North Burnaby very soon.

Known for infusing traditional desserts like their signature collagen-rich grass jelly series, glutinous rice desserts, and a shaved ice series, ZenQ has experienced a ton of success in Malaysia, Australia, and Indonesia, and we expect nothing different from their newest Canadian location.

ZenQ is the sister restaurant to another popular bubble tea chain that’s been popping up more and more in Metro Vancouver – Chatime, who just opened a new Richmond location this week.
