Vancouver’s latest Loblaws City Market is opening its doors in South Granville tomorrow, and it’s promising some special gifts for the first 250 customers to show up.

Located at 1461 W. Broadway, this will be the third Loblaws City Market location in Vancouver.

“We’re excited to welcome customers to our new store and become part of the South Granville community,” said Dan Close, the store owner. “We know customers are looking for convenient ways to shop without compromising freshness, quality or value. Whether they’re picking up ingredients for dinner, grabbing a prepared meal on the go or looking for great savings on everyday essentials, we’re proud to offer a fresh new grocery experience for the neighbourhood.”

The 19,000 sq. ft. store will offer a wide array of fresh, grab-and-go options. Think in-store made sandwiches, salads, bowls, sushi, pizza, and other hot meal selections. There will also be a self-serve salad bar, freshly baked goods, and full-service meat, seafood, and deli departments.

This is in addition to the assortment of fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy, frozen foods, natural and organic products, pantry staples, and household essentials the store will carry. It will also offer PC Express delivery and self-checkout lanes.

As part of the grand opening celebrations, the first 250 customers to show up will receive a product giveaway. There will also be complimentary tote goodie bags available while supplies last, and the store also promises plenty of South Granville-exclusive opening specials.

Loblaws City Market South Granville officially opens Friday, June 26, starting at 8 a.m. Following that, it will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
