Vancouver-based donut brand continues takeover with new location opening soon
Vancouver-based Lee’s Donuts has been taking over Metro Vancouver and beyond with all the locations it’s been opening recently, and it shows no sign of stopping, with its latest location coming to Surrey.
Softly opening on Oct. 31 at Guildford Town Centre, the location marks the debut of a new espresso beverage program.
“Guildford represents an exciting next chapter for Lee’s Donuts as we continue to grow throughout British Columbia,” said Celine Bacani, CEO of Lee’s Donuts. “Our roots will always be on Granville Island, but what makes our growth special is the opportunity to bring Lee’s into more communities with passionate local operators like Monique and Rus. We’re also excited to introduce our new espresso program, giving customers another reason to stop by, grab a donut and enjoy a little moment of happiness in their day.ā
This new location will be operated by husband-and-wife franchise partners Monique and Rus Carlos, who also operate the Lee’s location at Willowbrook Shopping Centre in Langley.
Here, folks can expect the full selection of Lee’s Donuts favourites, including its Honey Dip and classic Jelly doughnuts, in addition to the brand’s seasonal fall flavours like Pumpkin Cheesecake Crumble, Pumpkin Maple Crunch, Churro Apple Pie, and Salted Caramel, which will be available until Nov. 20.
Following its soft opening, Lee’s Donuts Guildford will be holding a grand opening on Nov. 8, where it will be giving away free doughnuts to the first 300 guests. Additionally, there will be a ribbon-cutting, and the brand’s mascot, Johnny Glaze, will be in attendance.
