New late-night restaurant serving loaded Mexican hot dogs and tacos opens in Metro Vancouver

When a restaurant boasts that it’s serving up absolutely loaded hot dogs as part of its Mexican street food offerings, we tend to take notice.
Las Shilas is a new Mexican restaurant that opened its doors in New Westminster and specializes in tacos, burgers, and loaded hot dogs, also known as jochos.

“Everything is made with fresh ingredients and true to tradition recipes to give you that real street food experience, just like you’d find in Mexico City!” said the restaurant.
When it comes to jochos, guests can anticipate hefty handhelds with ingredients like pork belly, pineapple, cheese, and tocino (sweet cured pork).
