Major ramen chain launches first food court concept in Vancouver

Kinton Ramen has been on a roll when it comes to expansion in Western Canada, and it shows no signs of stopping now that it has opened its first-ever food court concept at Waterfront Centre in downtown Vancouver.
“The food court concept allows us to bring Kinton Ramen to more people in high-demand locations while preserving the quality and authenticity that guests know and love,” said Karalyn White, senior director of franchising development at Kinka Family, the parent company that owns and operates Kinton Ramen.

Leading the operations of this new location is Han Lei Sun, an experienced franchise partner who owns and operates several Kinton Ramen locations across B.C. and Alberta.
The new food court concept is aimed at offering the same ramen experience patrons have grown accustomed to in a more convenient format. Expect a streamlined menu focusing on fan favourites and speedy service.
“Opening the first-ever Kinton food court concept in Vancouver is a reflection of the brand’s continued success in British Columbia,” said Jing Bao, British Columbia Area Representative for Kinton Ramen.
“The province has become a key growth region for Kinton Ramen, and the response from communities here has played a major role in shaping how we expand the Kinton Ramen brand in Western Canada.”

But don’t think this is a one-off concept either, as the brand shared it plans to open another one of these fast food locations in Ontario at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
