Cold-pressed juice bar announces closure of Vancouver location after seven years — new smoothie spot on the way
When thinking of cold-pressed juice in Vancouver, The Juice Truck tends to be one of the first to come to mind.
The brand, which started as a simple watermelon coloured truck, has since evolved to own multiple brick-and-mortar stores, alongside selling juice in hundreds of retail spaces. However, things are changing for the juice purveyor as it recently announced that it will be closing its Main Street location.
The Juice Truck first opened its Main Street location back in 2018 after taking over the space from The Juicery Co.
“What started as a little shop quickly grew into something so much bigger — a community hub for wellness, smoothies, cold-pressed juice, pop-ups, markets, and countless great memories,” wrote The Juice Truck.
As its name implies, The Juice Truck is best known for its array of juices. At its brick-and-mortar locations, it serves up made-to-order cold-pressed juices alongside smoothies, smoothie bowls, and snacks. It currently operates five other brick-and-mortar locations, and supplies juice to stores in many parts of B.C.

While we’re sad to see that The Juice Truck will be leaving its Main Street location, the juice shop assured customers that business is still good.
“Our business is thriving and busier than ever! Our wholesale program is booming, and we’re working hard to become Western Canada’s leading wholesaler of bottled cold-pressed juice. Who knows… you might even see new store concepts or fresh looks from us soon.”

Additionally, it shared that Body Energy Club, which has been a longtime friend and collaborator with The Juice Truck, will be taking over the space.
Body Energy Club is another big name in the Vancouver health food scene, serving up a selection of smoothies, acai bowls, juices, and to-go meals. It was founded in 2002 and has since opened 17 stores throughout Metro Vancouver.
“We’ve worked together for over a decade through private-label partnerships and a shared mission of growing health and wellness in Vancouver,” wrote The Juice Truck. “There’s truly no better team to carry the smoothie torch forward in this space.”

The Juice Truck’s final day of operation is Aug. 14. After that, you can visit one of its five other locations or find its products in retail stores.
