Hoshi Japanese Cuisine officially opens its doors in Vancouver

Vancouver’s new destination for sushi just opened its doors: Hoshi Japanese Cuisine.

The new waterfront restaurant has opened in the former location of M8 Bistro and boasts a front patio that soaks up those rays on a sunny day.

Hoshi’s 1010 Beach Avenue address is tucked right next to Beach Ave Bar and Grill, which took over the former space of TAPshack near Burrard Bridge this past spring.

The new, licensed restaurant has beer on tap alongside a selection of wine, sake, and cocktails.

Folks can head to this new destination for lunch or dinner.

The food menu offers a simple array of traditional set menu Teishoku options for lunch, and an ample list of appetizer sushi rolls (Oshi, Aburi) and sashimi during dinner service.

In addition to the sushi at dinner, patrons can opt to order donburi bowls, noodle dishes, and even hot pot at this new spot.
