Stanley Park’s Malkin Bowl will be rocking on September 4.

Just two short weeks before the release of HAIM’s Something To Tell You album, the band has announced a North American tour, with Vancouver as its only Canadian destination.

To accompany the band’s 2013 debut album, Days Are Gone, the sisterly trio from L.A.—Danielle Haim (guitars and lead vocals), Este Haim (bass), and Alana Haim (guitars and keyboards)—spent three years on the road, performing shows across North America, Europe, and in Vancouver’s very own Commodore Ballroom back in 2013.

They have since returned home—literally to their parent’s house—and created Something To Tell You in their living room/rehearsal studio.

“After everything we had done, it felt nice to be back—to go home and go to my childhood room,” said Danielle in a press release. “We rehearsed there every day for seven or eight years, dreaming of playing Saturday Night Live, so to go back there now is all very surreal, it’s so fucking crazy.”

HAIM’s second album promises to differ from the band’s debut, and they said they’re excited to share it with their fans.

“We could work on this record for another three years,” Danielle said in the release, “we’re that kind of perfectionists. But now it’s time to let everyone hear what we’ve been working on—plus, we want to get back out on tour. So let’s go!”
