Indian-style Chinese restaurant closes Vancouver location after 27 years

Green Lettuce has shared the news that it has closed its Vancouver location after a nearly 30-year run.
“To our Vancouver community, thank you for the last 27 years! Our Vancouver location is now closed, and please continue visiting us at our Surrey location,” wrote the restaurant on its website.
Located at 1949 Kingsway, the eatery was best known for its wide selection of Indian-style Chinese food. Owners Winston and Peter first opened the restaurant in 1999, and since then, it has acquired a very loyal following, including the likes of local celebrity chef Vikram Vij.
However, fans of the restaurant are still in luck as Green Lettuce also operates a location at 6350 120 St., Surrey. The restaurant is also recommending fans of its cuisine to check out Indian Wok at 5212 Kingsway, Burnaby, on its Google Business page.

Its final day of operation was June 28.
