The restaurant industry in Vancouver can be fickle and once again, the city’s dining scene has suffered some casualties. Alas, this is the way of the foodie world.

Men-no Kura

Whether you’ve grown up eating here or having it for your first time there’s still a few days to experience Bob’s in all its original glory before it serves its last customers on March 31.

Kinome Japanese Kitchen

Kinome, located at 2511 West Broadway, is known for their impeccable authentic Japanese cuisine and sake pairings. They told us that they’d have to close up shop by the end of spring 2018.

Moderne Burger

Moderne Burger (2507 West Broadway), a 17-year tenant in Kitsilano, told Daily Hive via email that they would be shuttering in spring 2018.

Benny’s Cafe

Benny’s Cafe shares the same building as Kinome and Moderne Burger on West Broadway, solidifying its fate as an eatery that will be forced to halt operations by spring 2018 due to building demolition.

EXP Restaurant + Bar

EXP Restaurant + Bar, which opened in 2012, is facing closure due to rising costs outside of its control that makes the business no longer feasible to continue.
