It’s out with the old, and in with the new for Earls when it comes to the North Shore.

Rumours have circulated that the chain’s West Vancouver Tin Palace location at 303 Marine Drive was closing, and we can confirm this is indeed true.

After an epic 34 years of service, this institutional restaurant will shutter in order to make room for the opening of a brand new Ambleside location set to open around Spring 2018.

This Earls was known to locals as one of the first locations for the chain, just across the Lions Gate Bridge and a straight shoot into downtown Vancouver, this spot was a much-loved hangout for regulars and visitors alike.

Earls Ambleside Beach will fill the Earls-shaped hole in your heart in this region, and it’s been teased as a fresh new restaurant concept that will be “the first of its kind in Canada”.

The upscale casual dining chain will be opening this new restaurants in a mixed-use development in the West Vancouver neighbourhood.

We’ll be sure to update you on the exact last day of operation, but in the meantime you can still head to this soon-to-close OG Earls to get your fill of chili chicken and sweet potato fries until late Winter/early Spring 2018.
