A new French-inspired neighbourhood bakery and cafe just opened in Vancouver

The Vancouver community was naturally upset when Small Victory announced that it would be leaving the Yaletown location it had operated in for 10 years to move to a new spot. But, while we wait for Small Victory’s highly anticipated new storefront, Vancouverites might want to check out a new bakery and cafe that has opened its doors in the area.
Called Chez nous Bakery and Coffee, the new purveyor of sweet treats and coffee has opened at 1262 Homer St.
On its website, Chez nous calls itself a French-inspired bakery serving up warm pastries and coffee in a cozy space.
“After months of dreaming, baking, and probably drinking way too much coffee, we’re finally opening our doors,” the cafe wrote.

On its menu, customers will find typical cafe offerings like lattes and teas alongside sweet and savoury baked goods. Think pain au chocolat, brioche feuilletée, and babka alongside an array of cookie flavours and slices of cake. Plus, Chez nous is selling French croque-monsieur.
