Where to find live Canucks talk without Sportsnet 650
There is life after all-sports radio.
While Vancouver may have lost its last all-sports radio station this summer, it’s being recreated in the aggregate.
When TSN 1040 shuttered five years ago, much of its content simply moved to different platforms. It now appears that’ll be true to some degree in the wake of Sportsnet 650 going off the air as well.
Shortly after Sportsnet 650’s demise, we outlined popular Canucks podcast options, and many of the shows below are available for download. But what about live sports-talk content?
There are plenty of options for that as well.
Live daily Canucks shows
Sekeres and Price can be heard live on weekdays from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. (Sekeres and Price)
When you piece together the most popular live broadcasts of Vancouver sports talk shows, you can nearly fill your entire day with local sports talk.
Halford and Brough (7 a.m. to 9 a.m.)
Mike Halford and Jason Brough, along with producer Andy Cole, have landed on their feet with Daily Faceoff Vancouver. Beginning Sept. 28, Halford and Brough can be streamed live via the DFO Vancouver YouTube channel. The beloved morning show airs on weekdays, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Donnie and Dhali (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
Donnie and Dhali airs weekday mornings on CHEK, from 10 a.m. to noon. The show is hosted by Don Taylor and Rick Dhaliwal, except on Fridays when Ryan Henderson fills in for Taylor, and can be viewed live on traditional television or streaming via CHEK+.
Sekeres and Price (12 p.m. to 2 p.m.)
Matt Sekeres and Blake Price can be heard weekdays from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. via the Sekeres and Price YouTube channel. The long-running afternoon show successfully transitioned from TSN 1040 to digital in 2021.
West Coast Conversation (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
Formerly known as “Canucks Conversation,” the show hosted by David Quadrelli and Harman Dayal recently rebranded. You can catch West Coast Conversation weekdays from 2 to 4 p.m. via the DFO Vancouver YouTube page.
Locked On Canucks (Weekdays)
Trevor Beggs and Kyle Bhawan host Locked On Canucks on weekdays, with live viewing available via the Locked On Canucks YouTube page.
Blackfish (Mondays, 11 a.m. to noon)
Hosted by Tyson Cole and Dave Hall, Blackfish is a weekly Canucks prospect show that airs Monday mornings from 11 a.m. to noon via the Daily Faceoff Vancouver YouTube channel.
Clay’s Canucks Commentary (11 p.m. to midnight)
Canucks superfan Clay Imoo owns the late-night space. He has been running a Canucks show on YouTube for the past seven years, streaming live beginning at 11 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday.

Canucks games on Kiss West Coast
Kiss West Coast is the new radio home of the Canucks, heard on 104.9 FM in Metro Vancouver, 92.5 in Abbotsford, and 107.5 in Chilliwack. Brendan Batchelor (play-by-play) and Randip Janda (colour commentator) call the games, with Dominic Sramaty and Arash Memarzadeh handling intermissions.
Note that the broadcast doesn’t include a lengthy pre-game or post-game show.
Rink Wide Vancouver post-game show
Rink Wide Vancouver is the only place to go for live post-game analysis. Jeff Paterson and new co-host Jamie Dodd air live shows following every Canucks game via the Rink Wide Vancouver YouTube page.
