A new Vancouver Canucks slogan has quietly popped up outside Rogers Arena.
Eagle-eyed observer Grady Sas spotted “Van as one” prominently displayed outside the home of the Canucks, along with other new banners. The Canucks haven’t used the slogan on their website or social media channels yet, but I would bet that it’s coming.
The new slogan is an easy get. After years of dysfunction, the new Canucks management team is looking to rebuild the organization’s culture and repair its reputation with fans.
The slogan would seem to replace “All together, all in,” which was first rolled out in October 2024. Ironically, that slogan debuted right before the Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller feud became public. It was kept throughout last season as well, when the team’s culture problem became undeniable, and Quinn Hughes was traded.
“All together,” they were not. They didn’t seem to be “all in,” either.
Needless to say, it was probably time for a new message.

“Van as one” has similar vibes to “We are all Canucks,” which was a slogan that stood the test of time during the heyday of the Sedin twins. It also shares similarities with “12 as one,” which has been used by the Seattle Seahawks recently.
Given that the Canucks aren’t expected to win many games next season, it made sense not to make any bold statements like “unfinished business,” which famously blew up in the team’s face in 2022-23. They switched to “Come on, let’s go,” in 2023-24.
The expectations are low for the Canucks on the ice this season, but confidence in management among fans appears to be higher than it has been in years. A large portion of the fan base has been clamouring for the team to rebuild, which is the stated objective of co-presidents Henrik and Daniel Sedin, along with general manager Ryan Johnson. Importantly, so far their actions have matched their words.
