Put away your bikinis and break out your oversized turtlenecks – it’s getting colder… and that means it’s time to eat inside where it’s toasty and warm.
But that doesn’t mean your snacks can’t be cold.
And since nothing really says fall like sweet treats, the opening of Cacao 70‘s Gastown Dippery (the first one ever) is the perfect way to celebrate the swing in seasons.

The Quebec-based franchise opened its 433 Abbott Street doors (formerly UYU ice cream) on September 17, and they are ready to put you in a sugar coma.
The “Dippery” concept for Cacao 70 entails ice cream that can be dipped in a variety of flavours such as a thick coat of chocolate, black sesame, earl grey, and matcha sauce.
The dippery will also offer waffles that can be coated with the gourmet toppings as well, a toasty substitution for those uber-chilly days where ice cream just wont cut it.
