If you haven’t been inside the dreamy pastel wonderland that is Botanist, now you have evenĀ more of a reason to head into the Fairmont Pacific Rim restaurant, because it has a new boozy weekend brunch service.

Located on the second floor of the stunning downtown Vancouver hotel, there’s a lot to highlight here —Ā like the amazing cocktail programĀ — but recently, the eatery launched the ‘Brunch Punch’ menu, and it’s certainly worth checking out.

The menu has a great selection of classic brunch dishes such as Cinnamon Pancakes and the Botanist Benedict to name a few.

The Benedicts are available in varieties like Crab And Avocado, Traditional Peameal Bacon, and Vegetarian Slow Roasted Onion, while the trio of pancakes comes topped with cinnamonĀ sugar streusel, candied pecans, and cream cheese glaze — no syrup needed.

For something on the lighter side, the menu offers eats like the Smashed Avocado Toast made with, grilled sourdough, poached eggs, and watercress, but one can truly never go wrong with this spot’s drool-worthy Hand-Cut Beef Tartare (which is also available at lunch).

This tartare, which happens to be one of our favourites in the city, is topped with smoked egg yolk, caper berries and parmesan, and served with sourdough bread.

In addition to the pancakes, Botanist’s new weekend brunch menu has a Brioche French Toast up for order, featuring dulce de leche, caramelized banana, and amaranth.

This menu, like most brunch services these days, also has a handful of heartier lunch-appropriate dishes too, like theĀ Fish And Chips made with squid ink tempura served with hand-cut fries and caperberry tartar sauce.

There’s also a Veal Ragu, a Wagyu Burger, and a breakfast risotto on the new menu.

In addition to the new fare, Botanist has introduced a fresh selection of carefully-crafted alcoholic and non-alcoholic brunch libations.

If you’re aiming to experience the whole brunch shebang at Botanist, you can opt for the $62 ‘Brunch Punch’ experience.

This means diners get a glass of BC sparkling wine upon arrival, one item from the starter section of the menu (Morning Stretch), one hot item from the entree section (Harvest & Hunt), along with a punch cocktail to finish.

The Brunch Punch service and all the menu items we’ve mentioned can be ordered Ć  la carte by request during Botanists’ brunch, which is Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm.
