Justin Trudeau has been on the campaign trail for some time now ahead of the 2019 Federal Election, which happens to be today.

The leader of the Liberal Party and current Prime Minister of Canada stopped at one of Metro Vancouver’s most loved bakeries over the weekend for a pre-election speech and some pie.

Trudeau braved the rain and stood in front of over 300 people at Port Moody bakery Gabi & Jules on Sunday.

The bakery posted images on Instagram and added to the caption that it was “quite the scene” when Trudeau stopped by to speak.

Trudeau was in town encouraging folks to get out there and make sure they have their say in the future Canadian government. Polls are open all over the country.

Their platforms might be different, but it seems these politicians have a love for sweet treats in common.
