BC student begging for snow day asks superintendent: "What would Jesus do?"

How far would you go to get a snow day?

For a local high school student, it went as far as beggingĀ penning a hilarious letter to a school district superintendent.

On Thursday morning, Chris Kennedy, West Vancouver School District Superintendent, shared a letter he received from a student at Rockridge Secondary School.

The strongly written letter touched on the dangerous road conditions and (more importantly) how the student had a chemistry test scheduled for Thursday.

“This would normally not be problematic, but due to recent weather patterns, I have spent the last two days skiing and drinking hot chocolate instead of preparing for the test,” the student writes in his letter.

Naturally, the student was willing to make a bargain if the superintendent declared another snow day.

“If you do, not only will I study for Chemistry, but I will also take my chances and ask out the best looking girl in the school,” he adds. “Just think, Mr. Kennedy… what would Jesus do?”

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the student got his wish, but hey — you can’t blame a guy for trying.
