Toronto Maple Leafs hosting outdoor practice at Nathan Phillips Square in February

If you’ve ever wanted to experience a Toronto Maple Leafs practice, now’s your chance.

On Thursday, February 7, you can cheer on the Maple Leafs as they take to the ice at one of Toronto’s most iconic outdoor rinks, Nathan Phillips Square, for practice.

The fun begins at 11 am, and fans can warm up with free hot beverages, and enjoy the giveaways, prizes and activations, while they wait for practice to start.

At 12 pm, the full Leafs team will hit the ice for practice, which will be followed by a game of shinny with a mix of Leafs alumni and City of Toronto councillors.

Alumni playing includes Shayne Corson, Kris King, Steve Thomas, Mark Laforest, Mike Johnson, Wayne Primeau, Dan Daoust and a special appearance by Darryl Sittler.

The event is free to attend, and fans are encouraged to arrive early.
