Don’t let this week’s freezing temperatures fool you, warm weather is finally on the horizon.

On Monday, Toronto will be hit with a much-needed dose of mild weather, as a high of 7°C degrees is on the forecast, according to The Weather Network.

While this isn’t exactly shorts and flipflops weather, it’s a big shift from the bone-chilling temperatures we felt this week that left Toronto in a deep freeze.

Monday’s warmer temperatures will also be accompanied by sunshine and a chance of showers, which causes a risk of flooding.

The warmer temperatures will be short lived as a high of 1°C is expected for Tuesday, which will drop down to -5°C  by Wednesday.

But hey, will take this over -20°C  any day.

Whatever you get up to this Monday, enjoy the warm weather while it lasts.

And if you’re still unsure of what to do, there are always plenty of heated patios in the city to hit up.
