FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Toronto’s turning up the heat, it seems.
Which is very appropriate on a cold day like today.
This afternoon, skaters stripped down to their undies to participate in the Polar Bear Skate at The Bentway Skate trail.
This skate was a fun twist on the traditional Polar Bear Dip, offering participants an opportunity to brave the cold without completely submerging themselves into freezing waters.
And of course, hot chocolate was available for all the good sports.
If you didn’t get a chance to see the skaters in their skivvies (or to be one of them yourself), here’s what you missed:

A big thank you to everyone who braved the cold and attended our first ever #PolarBearSkate. Definitely the “coolest” skate we’ve had all year. š #SkateThe8 https://t.co/lHj6vLgCoe pic.twitter.com/8JRIW3nXn4
