A victim is lucky to not be injured after a man tried to stab them in the washroom at Bloor Subway Station, according to police.

The incident reportedly occurred near the southbound platform, and as a result, trains bypassed the station and were held at Chester while officers investigated.

Police said the victim didn’t suffer any injuries as a result of the stabbing.

Police said the suspect may have fled the scene on the eastbound lane and was described as a 35-year-old male, 6-feet-tall, with a light complexion, and a beard.

The suspect was wearing dark clothing at the time and police believe he may have been concealing the knife in his jacket.

Police added that the suspect is considered armed and violent and anyone that sees him should not approach.
