
A man has been arrested for impaired driving and obstruction on Thursday evening in the city’s north end.
According to Toronto Police, the man claimed to have been stabbed at Finch Station after being robbed at gunpoint.

Police initially said that the man’s SUV was also stolen, and that he was taken to hospital.

In an update, officers said that there was no stabbing in the incident.
They say the man had been involved in an accident, when his vehicle struck a pole. He then fled the scene and told someone that had stopped to help him a “false story.”
He was later arrested by police.
