Driver spotted trying to clean snow off windshield on Highway 401 (VIDEO)

There are many things you should never attempt while driving, and clearing your windshield is one of them.

But one Toronto driver clearly didn’t get the memo as they were spotted struggling to clean the snow off their windshield while behind the wheel on Highway 401.

Gavin Gerbz posted the wild video on social media on Wednesday, showing an individual in a grey Hyundai SUV sticking their snow scraper out of the driver-side window, trying to clear the snow off the windshield, while travelling on the highway.

“Watch as a driver in Toronto attempts the BIRD BOX CHALLENGE on the 401 highway in Toronto. How do you think they did with 60 KM/hr lane change after full stop?” wrote Gerbz on YouTube.

So if you need another reminder to scrape your windshield and remove the snow from your car roof before driving, this is definitely it.

Failing to clear your windshield can land you an $85 fine under the Highway Traffic Act.
