Already established in Vancouver’s Chinatown, Craque de Creme is set to open its first Toronto location, tomorrow (August 24), on Bathurst south of St. Clair.

Owner Daniel Wong shares in a phone call with Daily Hive that he sold his original west coast crème brûlée cafe to one of his culinary classmates before relocating to The Six to set up shop.

The 27-seat cafe will open in the morning for coffees (supplied by Ezra Pound) and pastry, before replenishing for afternoon and evening service where crème brûlée and other desserts will be the main attraction.

Look forward to 13 different flavours of crème brûlée including one vegan option, three alcohol-based flavours, and Asian flavours like pandan, coconut, and possibly even durian (based on demand).
