If you’ve ever met a platter that makes you tear-up, then you’ll understand the passion and plating behind Portland’s go-to snack plate maker: The Platter Girl.

This delicious start-up features some of the most hypnotizingly displayed meats, cheese, fruits, and more that we’ve ever seen.

Launched in January of this year, and created with the goal of helping Portland “eat beautifully,” The Platter Girl has what it takes to bring any type of event you’re having to the next foodie level.

Food is important, and becomes even more so when hosting or planning a gathering. An event in which the food is not gushed about is a calendar date wasted, and you would be doing us a favor if you lost our invite.

“Every day I wake up excited to create something beautiful… and then eat it,” The Platter Girl herself, Lea Dixon, told Daily Hive. “Food has always inspired me, the flavors, colors, textures. Being able to channel all that love and creativity into show-stopping platters really gets me going.”

The one-woman show can supply the tasty, and visually appealing, snacks for any occasion. Smaller, completely customizable platters can start at roughly $95, and things don’t slow down on her menu until it gets to 12-foot table platters that can feed up to 150 grazers, running you around $1,600.

Hoping to make the future a platter place, Dixon says it’s a dream of hers to open up an actual store-front location here in Portland, but for now, she’s going to stick with sharing her knowledge and passion for cooking.

“In the near future I am offering Platter Girl Workshops where I will be teaching the basics of platter making, simple tricks to make food displays more beautiful and of course network, eat and meet other awesome foodies,” says the former Amazon HQ corporate planner.

For all of your snacking and wowing cross-over needs, there’s no show-stopper like an artistically curated and crafted platter.
