It's going to feel almost 20ºC warmer in Montreal between now and Friday

Temperatures that feel like double-digits below freezing are not the most appealing numbers you want to see on March 25.

However, the good news about cold weather is that it eventually gets warmer.

And we Montrealers deserve it after this long-lasting winter.

According to The Weather Network’s seven-day forecast, the weather is expected to rise steadily throughout the workweek and Friday is slated to feel 20ºC warmer than it is now.

Montreal is starting the last week of March with a crisp -5ºC that feels like -11ºC and Friday is expected to feel like a sunny 9ºC.

As temperatures climb above zero to start the week, Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to get 12 and 11 hours of sun, respectively, encouraging signs that spring may have finally sprung.

Thursday calls for showers which could help in bidding ‘au revoir’ to the city’s current blanket of ice and show.
