With the windchill of -29°C, today would trump November 22’s -25°C as the coldest day of the season (so far).
Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning for places like Matagami in the Nord-de-Quebec regions where it feels like -38°C with the wind chill.
Chilly temperatures will persist throughout the weekend as Montreal will feel like -22°C on Saturday and -19°C on Sunday before “warming up” to start next week.
