Darren Henwood- Bishop & Gags
Bishop & Bagg is hosting their 36th edition of their Bishop & Gags comedy show (if that pun isnât enough to entice you, all hope might be lost).
Stand-up veteran Amanda McQueen is hosting a show which will be headlined by the very funny (and the amazingly moustachioed) Darren Henwood.
Featured acts include Harrison Weinreb, David Heti, Fergus Craig, Paul Baluyot
Kathy Slamen, and Leonard Yelle.
Settle in for some midweek laughs at one of Montrealâs most extensive gin bars.

21 Swings
Spring wonât be the only thing in the air as Montrealâs musical swing exhibition returned to the Quartier des Spectacles this past weekend.
The interactive, music art installation, 21 Swings, will have Montrealers feeling like kids again as guests can swing back and forth, creating musical melodies.
The 21 Swings (or Balançoires) installation was custom-made for the Promenade des Artistes in the Quartier des Spectacles. The work was created by Daily tous les jours, in collaboration with animal behaviourist Luc-Alain Giraldeau from UQAM and Radwan Ghazi Moumneh, the installationâs composer.

Shane Murphy at Honey Martin Pub
If youâre in the mood for some soulful music, head over to Honey Martin Pub and check out Shane Murphy. Heâs one of the best musicians in Montreal at one of the cityâs coziest pubs.
Heâs silky smooth on the guitar and has a soothing and hip voice. He plays covers and original pieces. Considering itâs free entrance to watch him, itâs an absolute steal.

Our DNA â Quartier des Spectacles
A centrepiece of Montrealâs architectural heritage, this spiral staircase created by local artist Patrick PĂ©rubĂ© embodies âneighbourly culture and friendly back alleys.â
Suspended in mid-air, the double helix of a DNA molecule aims to remind on-lookers that our differences, put together, make up our collective identity.

McKibbinâs Irish Pub Hooley Night
McKibbinâs Irish Pub hosts their âHooley Nightâ tonight on the third floor. Ladies pay $10 at the door, gentlemen pay $25 and then itâs an open bar, all you can drink. The bar offers Moosehead beer, vodka, gin, rum, rye and whiskey as part of the special. The third floor features a dance floor and a DJ.
If youâre looking to dance and drink on a Wednesday night, itâs tough to find a better deal than McKibbinâs. Get there nice and early to beat the line.
