Viral Bhangra phenomenon shares dance moves from Mount Royal (VIDEO)

The renowned Bhangra dance has made its way to Montreal.

Gurdeep Pandher, the Yukon resident who went viral for his Bhangra dance that helps spread joy, hope, and positivity, shared his moves from atop Mount Royal.

Pandher is a professional Bhangra teacher in Whitehorse whoĀ uses the traditional upbeat Punjabi folk dance to build a human connection with Canadians from all walks of life.

While he regularly shares videos of himself dancing Bhangra in Yukonā€™s wilderness, Pandher has danced with young hockey players, Indigenous groups, and members of theĀ Canadian Armed Forces, spreading positivity and acceptance with each new clip.

Before sharing his moves from Mount Royal, Pandher was in Ottawa and Gatineau.

On Tuesday morning, Pandher shared the caption, “Hello Quebec, from Mount Royal Park in Montreal!” He said he’s in town for a few days to spread “joy, hope and positivity in Quebec, across Canada and beyond.” He signed off giving his best wishes to the Montreal Canadiens.
